Originally from the Emerald Isle, Louise Hickey has more than fifteen years experience in marketing and sales, communications, event organisation and public relations within the visual arts, fashion and media industries.
Louise first became involved with the Women’s Lifestyle Expo in 2010 when managing the Expo’s advertising campaign. Believing in producer Sue Frost’s vision and what the Expo offered Sunshine Coast women, she volunteered to be a part of the team and is involved in promoting the event through public relations and communications with local media and social connections.
Experienced in public relations, creative concepts, marketing strategies, media releases, articles and copy writing, awards submissions, website biographies, E-zines and newsletters, creative writing, internal publications, radio campaigns, television campaigns, event organising and art exhibitions, Louise is a freelance consultant who has been living on the Coast for nearly eight years.
Louise is also coordinating the first art exhibition at the Women’s Lifestyle Expo in September 2012. The exhibition will showcase Sunshine Coast talent with all artwork available to purchase at the Expo.
